Member Duties : 1. Provide one-on-one admissions and financial-aid assistance to any student or family seeking guidance • Encourage each student to develop an appropriate list of academically and culturally fit postsecondary choices • Help each student complete and submit admissions and financial-aid applications 2. Host events that foster a college-going culture and encourage students and their families to consider, plan for, and apply to college. 3. Establish productive working relationships with principals, counselors, and teachers at each assigned high school 4. Assist in the assessment and long-term sustainability of the program • Support the program director and evaluation team in identifying, gathering, and analyzing key progress and outcome metrics to assess the program's effectiveness 5. Maintain expertise in the college advising field
