• Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
• Location: Lynchburg, Virginia 24501
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing
• Healthcare Setting: Emergency Room (Trauma Level II)
• Start Dates: 9/8/2025 and 9/22/2025
• Assignment Length: 16 weeks
• Nursing Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), every other weekend
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1780–$1910
Registered Nurse Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department nursing experience in a similar size ED and trauma level II or I
• Active Virginia RN license or Compact RN license required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale, Trauma Certification (ATCN/TNCC/ATLC)
• Cerner EMR experience highly preferred
• All requested time off must be submitted with application
• Local candidates within 60 miles are not eligible
ER Nurse Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room
• Respond to trauma cases and acute medical emergencies
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Utilize Cerner EMR for accurate documentation and patient management
• Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations
