Join Our Team as a Kettle Operator – Help Craft Our Famous Kettle Chips!
Do you enjoy hands-on work, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in doing things the right way? At our Womelsdorf facility, we’re looking for dedicated team players to join us as Kettle Operators —the people who help bring our delicious kettle chips to life.
This role is at the heart of our production process. From preparing raw potatoes to managing the frying kettles, you’ll be a key part of ensuring every bag of chips meets our top-quality standards.
What You’ll Do
• Be a champion for safety and quality by following all food safety rules, GMPs, and company policies.
• Operate and maintain equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, stretch wrappers, and loaders.
• Handle raw product: sort, peel, inspect, and prepare potatoes for frying.
• Get kettles ready for start-up and shutdown while monitoring oil levels and quality.
• Calibrate slicer heads and blades with precision.
• Perform equipment checks, report issues, and keep things running smoothly.
• Support your team by covering breaks and communicating effectively.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area with regular sanitation and waste removal.
• Complete accurate production documentation.
• Participate in training and improvement programs to keep growing your skills.
• Adapt and take on new tasks as needed.
What You Bring
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in food manufacturing or a related field (preferred but not required).
• Familiarity with food safety practices and processing equipment.
• Physical stamina to lift, move, and stay active throughout your shift.
• Sharp attention to detail and the ability to follow directions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
