The Nurse Recruiter & Retention Specialist is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and onboarding qualified nursing professionals, while developing strategies to enhance nurse engagement, professional growth, and long-term retention. This role works closely with nurse leaders, human resources, and educational departments to ensure a stable, skilled, and satisfied nursing workforce.
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) required; master’s degree preferred.
• Experience in healthcare recruitment or nursing leadership.
• Knowledge of nursing practice, staffing requirements, and healthcare labor market trends.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional Nurse Recruiter Certification (e.g., Certified Nurse Recruiter or equivalent) required within one (1) year of hire.
