Job Responsibilities The full-time temporary grant Retention Counselor, funded by the DOL Strengthening Community Colleges grant initiative, will focus on working with Advanced Manufacturing and Nursing Pathway student participants from credit, continuing education, and K-12 Career and Technical Education to ensure that students progress along the College’s career pathway opportunities. The position is funded by DOL through February 2027.
Minimum and Additional Requirements A bachelor's degree preferred + 2 years of experience in student services programs.
Preferred Qualifications A Master’s degree is preferred. A minimum of two years’ experience in an academic environment, firsthand experience with youth or adult career programming and/or working with first-generation students, and/or minimum of two years of case management experience working with youth and adults, career development facilitator certification, preferred.
