**Job Description: IMU Registered Nurse (RN) – 12-Hour Day Shift**
We are seeking an experienced IMU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position offers 12-hour shifts during the day and will be instrumental in delivering high-quality patient care.
**Position Details:**
- **Shift:** 12-hour Day shifts (starts on 10/20 & 11/3 only)
- **Duration:** 16 weeks
- **Patient Population:** A mix of Med-Surg, Telemetry, Cardiac IMCU, Neuro, and Stroke (CVA) patients.
- **Schedule:** Must be available to work two of three winter holidays; block scheduling is no longer accommodated. Weekend-only requests may be considered.
- **Orientation:** Occurs bi-weekly on Mondays.
- **Weekend Commitment:** The unit aims for staff to work two out of three weekends a month, though this may vary based on unit needs.
**Qualifications:**
- **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years in a relevant specialty with travel experience required; charge nurse experience is preferred.
- **Certifications:** BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory. NIH Stroke Scale Certification is also required.
- **Licensure:** Active Virginia or Compact RN License is essential at the time of application submission.
- **Systems Proficiency:** Familiarity with Cerner is preferred.
- **Availability:** All requests for time off (RTO) must be included at the time of submission.
**Additional Information:**
- **Locals:** Candidates residing within 60 miles are not accepted.
- **Cancellation Policy:** Assignments may be canceled by the client up to 36 hours in advance due to census fluctuations.
