Description:
This position requires nursing professionals with a background in intermediate care.
The patient population includes a mix of medical-surgical, telemetry, cardiac IMCU acuity level patients, neuro patients, and CVA patients.
The schedule requires flexibility as the unit tries to follow 2 out of 3 weekends per month but cannot guarantee this based on unit needs.
Travelers may encounter students and new hires frequently, and it is expected that all team members contribute to a culture of support.
Float requirements are not applicable for this position.
Candidates must be able to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays as scheduled.
Block scheduling is no longer accommodated, though weekend-only requests may be considered.
Census may affect assignments, and cancellations can occur up to 36 hours prior.
All time off requests must be submitted with the application.
