Job Title: Company Management Apprentice Please apply to asolo_human_resources@asolo.org Asolo Rep, a leading regional theater company in Sarasota, Florida, is seeking a Company Management Apprentice for the 25-26 season. The Company Management Apprentice will work closely with the Company Manager and Artistic Department to provide support and logistical coordination of guest artist travel and housing. The company management apprentice should be well-organized, flexible, and willing to assist wherever possible. Responsibilities: Provide support for the daily operations of the company, including scheduling, data entry and expense tracking, and communication with the visiting artists, production staff, and cast. Assist with the coordination of actor and designer travel and housing, including maintaining schedules, booking flights and rental car services, managing transportation and lodging for artists and staff, and overseeing catering and hospitality arrangements. Assist with communication between the company and other departments within the organization, as well as with external partners and vendors as directed by the company manager. Assist with the coordination of special events and activities related to the company, including fundraising events, donor receptions, and artist meet-and-greets. Share "on-call" duties for guest artists and Asolo Rep activities, including attending all opening/closing festivities, meeting vendors, driving guest artists, responding to emergencies, etc. Help to maintain the fleet of company vehicles and rentals during the season. Including but not limited to assisting with mechanical repairs, arranging for mechanical repairs and cleaning of the fleet vehicles. Requirements: Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with a disposition for flexibility and customer service experience. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software programs. Must be able to work evenings and weekends as needed on a rotating basis. Bachelor's degree in theater and/or stage management or related field preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered. Prior experience in company management and customer service is a plus.
