As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for sampling and collecting data, in-process testing, and evaluation of equipment, materials, raw materials, dimensions, and finished goods. This position will include documentation and tracking of data, contributing to written reports and procedures, and other clerical work as needed. Perform in-process and final quality checks upon completion of equipment and devices Perform quality checks on raw material Help to troubleshoot devices as needed for performance issues Track and document quality checks for variety of devices and materials Liaison between departments and engineering from a Quality perspective Prior Quality Control/Quality experience with manufacturing of machines/equipment required Strong mechanical/electrical background preferred Experience reading technical drawing preferred Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Proficient with Microsoft Office/ Excel Ability to work independently, but also in a team environment Professional demeanor with a positive attitude Ability to learn quickly and maintain records Background in process improvement/standardization preferred
Salary: $20 - $26 an hour
