Description:
The position is for a cardiac thoracic ICU nurse.
Candidates should be skilled in managing open-heart and thoracic cases.
Responsibilities include managing patients with ECMO, Impella, LVAD, IABP, CRRT, MIs, and CHF.
Familiarity with vital signs machines, glucometers, SCDs, bladder scanners, vein finders, remote telemetry, wound vacs, IV pumps, and chest tubes is essential.
Experience with tube feeding pumps and oxygen delivery devices is required.
Travel nurses are expected to contribute to a culture of support, particularly when interacting with students and new hires.
All requests for time off must be submitted and approved prior to acceptance.
The client reserves the right to cancel shifts based on patient census.
Floating to other units is not required for this position.
