I have teamed up with a steel fabricator , who are seeking an experienced estimator to come and lead their estimating team. Working in the commercial field, you'll be a huge part of mentoring junior estimators and guiding them to work at AISC standards.
Job Overview:
• Lead and manage the estimating team (estimators, takeoff technicians, coordinators)
• Review and approve all estimates and bid proposals before submission
• Oversee the preparation of detailed cost estimates based on drawings, specs, and site visits
• Maintain and build client relationships with GCs, fabricators, and developers.
• Identify labor, equipment, material, crane usage, logistics, and subcontractor needs.
What you need:
• 5+ years estimating structural steel
• 5+ years working directly in steel fabrication
