Position Summary
As our Safety & Health Manager, you’ll play a critical role in creating a safe, compliant, and engaged workplace. You’ll oversee all aspects of health and safety programs while driving a proactive safety culture across the organization.
What You'll Do
Program Ownership & Compliance • Lead the development, implementation, and regular review of company Health & Safety policies to ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and Local regulations
• Manage and maintain Safety and Health Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), OSHA logs, and the PSM (Process Safety Management) program
• Ensure accurate documentation and timely submission of all required internal and external reports
Risk Prevention & Site Safety • Conduct routine jobsite visits and environmental/safety audits
• Investigate and manage incidents, accidents, and near-misses, including reporting and follow-up
• Develop and enforce site- and job-specific safety plans to reduce risk and maintain compliance
• Assess PPE needs and ensure proper equipment is available and used
Training & Team Engagement • Deliver engaging safety training both in-person and online, including new hire orientations
• Facilitate the Safety Committee and champion field-level involvement in safety initiatives
• Reinforce safe practices through coaching, communication, and visibility
• Cultivate a positive safety culture that promotes collaboration, high morale, and accountability
Cross-Functional Support & Continuous Improvement • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on capital projects, new product initiatives, and equipment implementation
• Drive continuous improvement and sustainability efforts tied to health, safety, and environmental performance
What You’ll Bring

• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize, plan, and execute across multiple initiatives

• Solid technical understanding of safety and environmental compliance, paired with a proactive, team-oriented mindset
• Ownership mentality with a strong sense of responsibility for outcomes and continuous improvement
Skills & Experience
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in health and safety compliance, or related fields
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to navigate challenging situations with firmness and tact
• Strong risk awareness with the ability to identify hazards and take immediate, appropriate action
• Certified First Aid/CPR Trainer status preferred
• OSHA Outreach Trainer certification preferred
• Comfortable using office equipment and standard tools (computers, phone systems, copier, etc.)
• In depth understanding of the role safety plays as a key part of operational excellence and brand reputation
• Demonstrated customer service orientation and ability to engage employees across levels
• Clear understanding of organizational values and ability to model and reinforce them daily
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively across departments
