A preventive maintenance scheduler develops and manages a schedule of planned maintenance activities to ensure equipment and machinery operate efficiently and reliably . This role involves planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance tasks, resources, and personnel to minimize downtime and optimize operational performance. They also play a crucial role in maintaining equipment records, generating work orders, and recommending improvements to the maintenance program
Key Responsibilities:

Planning and Scheduling:
Develop and implement comprehensive preventive maintenance schedules based on manufacturer recommendations, equipment usage, and operational needs. Â

Resource Management:
Ensure the availability of necessary personnel, parts, tools, and other resources required for scheduled maintenance tasks. Â

Work Order Management:
Create and manage work orders, ensuring they are properly documented, prioritized, and assigned to qualified personnel. Â

Communication and Coordination:
Maintain clear communication with maintenance personnel, operations staff, and other stakeholders to coordinate schedules and address any issues. Â

Data Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze maintenance data to identify trends, assess program effectiveness, and recommend improvements to the preventive maintenance program. Â

Compliance:
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and company policies. Â

CMMS Management:
Utilize and maintain a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)  to track maintenance activities, manage work orders, and generate reports. Â

Cost Control:
Monitor maintenance costs and identify opportunities to optimize spending on parts, labor, and other resource
