**Job Title:** IMU RN - Clinical Observation Unit (Night Shift)
**Job Description:**
We are currently seeking an experienced IMU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Clinical Observation Unit for 12-hour night shifts. This position is ideal for professionals looking for a rewarding opportunity in a dynamic healthcare environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients within a 4:1 patient ratio.
- Float between units as required based on patient care needs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in educational support for new hires and nursing students, contributing to a culture of learning and teamwork.
- Attend orientation sessions every other week on Mondays.
**Position Requirements:**
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant specialty.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
- Previous travel nursing experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with Cerner Electronic Health Records (EHR) is a plus.
- Active Virginia or Compact RN license must be provided at the time of submission.
- All requests for time off (RTO) must be included in the submission packet.
**Additional Information:**
- Local candidates within 60 miles are not accepted.
- This is a one-assignment-only position with no renewals.
- Orientation sessions are held every other week, with a focus on team integration.
- Candidates must be able to work 2-3 weekends per month based on unit needs.
- Assignments may be subject to cancellation up to 36 hours prior, depending on patient census.
