Salary: $18-$22/hour
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose mechanical issues and determine the appropriate repair solutions
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
• Repair and replace vehicle parts, including engines, transmissions, and other major components
• Test vehicles after repairs to ensure they meet safety and performance standards
• Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used
• Communicate with customers about vehicle issues, repairs, and maintenance needs
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
Qualifications:
• Clean MVR
• Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar role
• In-depth knowledge of vehicle systems, components, and repair techniques
• Certification from a recognized automotive training program is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift and carry heavy parts and equipment
• Comfortable working in various positions (standing, kneeling, etc.)
• Tolerance to work in potentially noisy or dusty environments
