Description
The University of Lynchburg, located  in central Virginia, is accepting applications for a Head Coach for our Men’s Volleyball Program. The successful candidate will report directly to the Director of Athletics  and will be responsible for all aspects of  leadership for the men's volleyball program, including recruitment and retention of student-athletes, scheduling and team travel, budget management, and equipment purchases.  The candidate must have a commitment to upholding the academic and athletic integrity and mission of the University, compliance with NCAA, conference, and University regulations.  Other job related duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.  This is a full-time 12 month position.  Salary is commensurate with credentials and experience.

The University of Lynchburg is a private coeducational liberal arts institution located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains in central Virginia.
Required qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year institution Successful collegiate Volleyball experience is preferred.  Strong interpersonal and communications skills; demonstrated organizational and management ability.  The successful candidate must successfully pass a background check that is satisfactory to the University.
Job Type: Full Time benefits eligible
Job Purpose: responsible for providing  leadership to the new Men’s Volleyball  program, recruitment and retention of student-athletes, scheduling and team travel, budget management, and equipment purchases.  The candidate must have a commitment to upholding the academic and athletic integrity and mission of the University, compliance with NCAA, conference, and University regulations.
