**Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist – 9H Days**
**Location:** Various Facilities (Floating Required)
**Shift:** 9-Hour Days
**Contract Duration:** 91 Weeks
**Orientation:** Bi-weekly on Mondays
**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cath Lab Technologist for a full-time position with a focus on providing exceptional patient care in the cardiac catheterization laboratory. This role requires a commitment to working 9-hour shifts, with the added responsibility of floating to our satellite campus twice weekly. Candidates must be available for on-call duties one night per week and every fifth weekend.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform catheterizations and assist with structural heart procedures in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care.
- Ensure all equipment is ready and functioning correctly for procedures.
- Document patient data accurately and maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Maintain compliance with all hospital policies and procedures, including safety protocols.
**Qualifications:**
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiovascular technology role.
- Must hold an ARRT certification (with a valid VA license) or a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology; current RCIS certification may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Ability to provide proof of all requested time-off (RTO) upon submission for the position.
- Willingness to work as a floater and adapt to changes in work environments.
**Additional Information:**
- Local candidates will not be accepted for this position.
- Candidates may experience cancellations with a prior notice of up to 27 hours due to census changes.
