What’s Under the HoodVerde Investments, Inc. engages in the acquisition, development and long-term investment in real estate and commercial assets.  The Company offers a small, professional office environment where individuals that can work independently but ask questions when needed will thrive. That’s Nice, But What’s the Job?In short, we are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team.  This is a hands-on role responsible for the monthly accounting of assigned entities.In long, our Senior Accountant is responsible for:Record daily cash transactions and prepare monthly bank reconciliationsPrepare monthly billings for related entities and lesseesAssist with coding and review of accounts payable invoicesPrepare month end journal entries and maintain supporting schedules for all balance sheet accountsPrepare monthly financial statements and analyze trend reports for accuracyPrepare and distribute annual 1099 NECs for multiple entitiesAct as liaison between Verde Investments and offsite accountants or management companies at various owned real estate assetsCalculate and file monthly sales tax reportsThe Specifics.3-5 years prior accounting experienceProficient in various accounting systemsStrong Excel skillsExcellent attention to detailExperience with small business accounting preferredAbility to work independentlyCommunication skills are essentialStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skillsBasic knowledge of business taxes (i.e sales, excise and income tax)Ability to prioritize/re-prioritize multiple tasksSo What About the Perks?
