Express is currently working with a company in Breinigsville that has immediate openings on 1st shift for Material Handlers!
• First shift: M-F 6:30am - 3:00pm $16.50/hr. occasional Saturdays
Position Summary:
Individual is responsible for performing a variety of tasks that support the processing of returned/recalled items on behalf of a retailer of multiple retailers. The Material Handler position requires high attention to detail and ability to read, understand and follow standard operating procedures specific to this position.
Primary Duties
• Lift and move boxes to and from the scanning lines
• Open boxes (or other containers) of returned/recalled items with a box cutter
• Visually match the Return Authorization information on the outside of the container to the paperwork and specific items within the container to verify that it matches
• When scanning process is complete, add totes to a pallet, label the pallet for storage; move pallets to storage as directed
• Stock empty totes at scanning lines and remove trash from scanning area as directed
Required Qualifications
• High School diploma (or its equivalent)
• Able to lift up to 60lbs independently and repetitively
• Able to work in an environment that is not climate controlled
• Able to push a cart or hand truck up to 100 yards; able to use a pallet jack
• Able to grasp and use box cutters and seal zip lock bags
• Able to work under time pressure and meet production goals; able to work more than 8 hours per day (over-time) as needed
