Job Description:
• The Technician III will be responsible for performing routine and complex maintenance on infrastructure and clean utility systems in a highly regulated environment.
• This role requires technical expertise in HVAC, plumbing, cold storage, clean steam, and high-purity water systems.
• The technician will ensure equipment reliability, perform preventive maintenance, respond to urgent repair needs, and contribute to a clean, safe, and compliant facility environment.
Responsibilities:
• Perform and prioritize routine and complex maintenance tasks across infrastructure and clean utility systems.
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot systems such as HVAC, clean steam, compressed air, cold storage, and water purification.
• Interpret and review utility and system drawings including HVAC P&IDs and plumbing diagrams.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and documentation related to maintenance activities.
• Complete operational logbooks, maintenance records, and work order documentation.
• Perform housekeeping tasks, including equipment cleaning and maintaining clean workspaces.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, maintenance staff, and contractors to complete projects.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize operational disruptions.
• Ensure all work complies with regulatory, safety, and organizational standards (GxP, SOPs, CFRs).
• Support reliability and efficiency initiatives of critical clean utility systems.
Skills:
• Strong knowledge of electricity, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret system diagrams and technical documentation.
• Strong communication skills for internal stakeholder collaboration.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Agile learner with initiative to develop technical knowledge and skillset.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
• Familiarity with SAP-PM (desirable).
• Experience with cold storage systems (desirable).
Qualification And Education:
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Facilities Maintenance Technical Degree or HVAC/R Maintenance Technical Certification.
• 5+ years of experience in two or more of the following: Electrician, HVAC, Mechanical, Fire Systems, Cold Storage, or Water Systems.
