This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for those who excel under pressure and are committed to growth. If you’re ready to make a meaningful impact, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
As a Water Project Manager, you’ll lead water damage restoration projects with:
• Technical Precision:
• Conduct thorough damage assessments and develop comprehensive scopes that capture all necessary work.
• Coordinate complex logistics, including asbestos testing for pre-1978 buildings, specialized trade work (e.g., granite countertop removal), and licensed plumbing.
• Use tools like DocuSketch, Moisture Mapper, photographs to ensure flawless documentation.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Build trust with property owners by clearly explaining timelines and processes during high-stress situations.
• Negotiate with insurance adjusters to secure approval for comprehensive scopes, often expanding projects from mitigation to content management to reconstructions.
• Sequence trades efficiently to meet deadlines while balancing 5-10 stakeholders per project.
• Business Impact:
• Drive project profitability through accurate scoping and cost justification.

• Critical Thinking:
• Proven ability to analyze complex structural damage and develop remediation plans under tight deadlines.
• Experience managing multi-week projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Track record of defending scopes to insurance adjusters.
• Communication & Sales:
• Ability to explain technical details to non-technical audiences (e.g., property owners).
• Consultative selling skills to expand project scopes to what is needed to repair the property to its previous condition prior to the loss.
• Documentation that withstands adjuster scrutiny.
• Professional Qualities:
• Resilience to handle constructive feedback from industry veterans.
• Commitment to continuous learning in a fast-evolving field.
• Composure in high-pressure, customer-facing situations.
• Willingness to work extended hours during emergencies.
We welcome applications from all qualified candidates, regardless of background, who share our passion for excellence and restoration.
What We Don’t Want
• Candidates expecting a standard 9-5 schedule (emergencies require flexibility).
• Individuals who struggle with detailed preparation or cut corners and documentation.
• Professionals unable to handle direct feedback or high-pressure environments.
Your Growth Journey
• Months 1-6: Expect a steep learning curve with mentorship from industry veterans. Mistakes are part of growth—your ability to learn quickly and take accountability is key.
• Years 1-2: Build technical mastery through complex projects and hands-on experience.
• Beyond Year 2: Advance to senior project management, estimating, sales, or operations roles based on your impact and skills.
Why Join Us?
• Competitive Pay: $65,000 to $75,000
• Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life, short-term disability, and 3% Simple IRA match after one year.
