JOB SUMMARY:
The Project Engineer will be responsible to keep all of our drawings organized and easily accessible. All drawings will be kept up to date with any changes that happen at any of or facilities whether in 2d or 3d. The project engineer will manage small projects less than $500k.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
• Keep all drawings up to date whether 2d or 3d.
• Be available to do conceptual drawings for anyone in the corporation.
• Maintain square footages of all B & E properties.
• Be the keeper of all occupancy permits for all B & E locations.
• Be the keeper of all site drawings for all B &e owned real estate.
• Perform small projects as needed.
• Manage cash flow and keep open/closed projects list up to date.
• Develop a B & E contractor safety policy and measurement system.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
• High school education or GED. Some post high school education is strongly desired.
• College education preferred in an engineering field or applicable work experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to speak English, read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Effective professional communication skills to both hourly and managerial personnel.
• This position would require daily operational discussions requiring the ability to communicate to team members of multiple languages basic English should be required with bilingual skills desired.
