Job Summary
Kutztown University's Human Resources department seeks a talented and versatile HR Generalist. Reporting to the Director of HR, the HR Generalist will primarily be responsible for administering the university's leave of absence program, including FMLA, workers compensation, and ADA accommodation requests.
This position is located in-person at Kutztown University.
Minimum Qualifications • A bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field with 3-5 years of experience in a leave of absence administration, or no degree with 7-10 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent research, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as experience working with diverse populations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
Preferred Qualifications • Master's degree in human resources or related field
• HR certification (such as SHRM-CP or SCP, PHR or SPHR)
• Experience working in SAP
• Experience in higher education
• Experience in a unionized environment
• Experience in PASSHE

The anticipated hiring range for this position is $62,000 - $70,000 .
