🎥 Social Media Marketing Intern (Creative Department – Paid Internship)
📍 Location: Remote + some in-person shoots in Tampa
🕒 10–15 hours/week | Reports to: Creative Director
Surge Marketing is growing quickly—and we’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented intern to support our Creative Director and grow into a full Account Manager role.
You’ll be part of an energetic, high-performance agency that produces content, builds brands, and manages growth for influencers, entrepreneurs, and public figures across the country. This internship is perfect for someone who wants hands-on experience and is ready to learn the ropes of running creative accounts.
What you’ll do:
• Assist the Creative Director with client account organization, timelines, and deliverables
• Help manage brand content libraries and visual assets
• Attend local content shoots and support with lighting, B-roll capture, and behind-the-scenes
• Assist with video editing prep (organizing footage, trimming clips, applying templates)
• Post content to TikTok, IG, and YouTube via our scheduling tools
• Track approvals in Airtable and coordinate with clients to keep projects on schedule
• Shadow creative calls and take notes on revisions + next steps
• Help brainstorm content ideas and brand strategies
This role is for you if:
✔️ You’re organized, creative, and love both systems and storytelling
✔️ You’re comfortable showing up to shoots and contributing on set
✔️ You have some basic editing or Canva/design experience (not required but a plus)
✔️ You communicate clearly and love keeping things on track
✔️ You’re hungry to learn and grow into a leadership role long-term

Compensation: Paid monthly (based on workload + hours)
