Position Summary
The position of Collaboration Strategist plays a vital role in advancing the mission of FIVE18 Family Services of building communities of faithful relationships that ensure children are safe and families are restored. As part of the Community Collaboration Team, the Collaboration Strategist helps to promote and grow the use of CarePortal in our region, to coordinate and facilitate the monthly community meeting called The Gathering, and to shepherd and steward FIVE18’s relationships with Vision30 Partners.
The Collaboration Strategist will also be assigned a role to fill within the CarePortal management system, modified for FIVE18 Family Services as the Implementing Partner.
All of the activities and functions of the Collaboration Strategist are aligned with FIVE18 Family Services leading out Vision30 in our communities. The performance of this role is to be rooted in and is to reflect the core values of Christ-centered compassion, evidence-based impact, and team-driven excellence.
Essential Functions
• Participate in weekly strategy meetings with the Community Collaboration Team and follow up on action steps identified
• Assist in the planning and facilitation of The Gathering meetings
• Represent FIVE18, Vision30, and CarePortal at regional events, church gatherings, community resource events, agency meetings, and other opportunities to promote collaboration and network growth
• Promote and facilitate collaborative efforts between FIVE18 ministry teams and organizations and entities in the community
• Perform the duties of the assigned role in the CarePortal management system (Church Ambassador)

Key Responsibilities For CarePortal Role Of Church Ambassador
• Serve as the main point of contact for a group of participating churches, ensuring they are trained, engaged, and equipped to respond to needs
• Identify and recruit new churches to join the CarePortal network, helping them catch the vision and take their first steps toward implementation
• Regularly communicate needs, updates, success stories, and opportunities for deeper involvement with church leaders and volunteers
• Support Church Response Teams in organizing and mobilizing their members to respond effectively and relationally to needs
• Collect and share stories of impact, track response outcomes, and ensure accurate reporting in the CarePortal platform; list requests provided by Vision30 partners
• Represent CarePortal in local events and gatherings, building relationships with ministry leaders, agencies, and community partners
Additional Expectations
• Part-time employees are invited to all of our quarterly All Staff meetings and monthly Town Hall meetings. They are required to attend 50% of them.
• Part-time employees work with their supervisor to identify annual SMART goals; one is to align with the team’s WIG (and a strategic plan objective) and one is to contribute to the employee’s professional development in Trauma Informed Care (TIC)
