Inventory Specialist
Job Description:
This position is responsible for accurate and meticulous inventory management of outdoor slab storage, with a strong emphasis on comprehensive inventory control, daily cycle counting, and maintaining high data accuracy. The role requires working primarily outdoors, operating material handling equipment, and ensuring precise tracking of all materials.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Lead and execute daily cycle counting processes to ensure highly accurate inventory records of all materials in outdoor storage.
• Conduct thorough investigations into inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Operate a forklift and overhead crane throughout your shift for the movement, organization, and accurate placement of slabs in outdoor conditions.
• Accurately sort and store slabs in their correct outdoor locations by disposition, ensuring optimal space utilization and easy retrieval.
• Proactively monitor inventory levels, identify potential shortages or overages, and generate comprehensive inventory reports.
• Meticulously scan and record all material movements to and from outdoor storage areas, staging areas, and delivery vehicles using inventory management systems.
• Organize and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of outdoor inventory areas, including raw materials, finished goods, and pallets, ensuring proper labeling and accessibility.
• Complete daily safety inspections of forklift and crane, reporting any issues promptly.
• Provide accurate documentation, including daily checklists, for the forklift and other equipment.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of outdoor slab storage layouts, inventory flow processes (e.g., receiving, returns, staging), and relevant planning reports.
• Uphold a strong understanding of Report Server, Reports, Oracle, Telnet Scanning, and other company computer-based programs essential for inventory management.
• Keep the outdoor work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Perform job duties safely as outlined in the Outdoor Inventory Operations Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Assist with material movement for order fulfillment, ensuring accurate inventory adjustments post-movement.
• Additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Ability to become certified in forklift and overhead crane operation.
• Ability to read and write in English to complete required documentation and inventory reports.
• Proficient computer skills, particularly with inventory management systems, data entry, and spreadsheet applications.
• Ability to work effectively in an outdoor environment, enduring various weather conditions.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Ability to become certified in forklift and overhead crane operation

Physical Requirements:
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Push/pull 100 lbs.
• Stand on feet for long periods of time during a shift for up to 12 hours, with intermittent breaks
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by Cambria
• Participate in daily stretch and flex exercises
• Work in a non-climate controlled environment
• Separate slabs using a separator tool in both racks and A-frames
• Climb in and out of a forklift multiple times throughout shift
• Bend over multiple times throughout shift
Task Based Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:

Cambria’s starting salary range for this position is $17.15 - $22.66. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. This position may be eligible for a 15% shift differential which would be applied to the base hourly rate for all hours worked during designated overnight shift periods.
The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
