JOB Under the management of the IT Systems Support Manager, the Systems Analyst is responsible for safeguarding information system assets and providing IT service management services for hardware/software technical support for the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office. This is not a management position. Responsibilities will include: As a member of the IT Bureau ServiceDesk team, the Systems Analyst will engage in a wide variety of duties including, but not limited to: Monitor the IT ticketing system for service and/or assignment of helpdesk requests. Performs administrative tasks such as asset management and maintaining current knowledge base documentation. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES Provide support in person, via phone, or using remote support tools: Desktop Support: Image, configure, and install domain-joined PC'sConfigure and install computer peripherals (printers, scanners, etc.…)Update operating systems and software applications to recommended security levels.Network Support: Onboard and configure cellular connectivity for agency mobile computing devices via the service provider’s web portal.Support, troubleshoot, and resolve networking problems for desktops, laptops, and iOS devicesAssist and support personnel using conference room technology SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION PG 04Annual Work Hours: 2080Long-Term Salary Cap: $89,980.80
