We are looking for a skilled Customer Service Representative/Order Entry Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Sarasota, Florida. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient communication and accurate order processing. Responsibilities: Respond promptly to inbound customer calls, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns with professionalism. Manage order entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of customer requests. Provide clear and concise email correspondence to address customer needs and follow up on inquiries. Schedule appointments and maintain organized records to support customer service operations. Handle both inbound and outbound calls to maintain effective communication with clients. Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to manage customer data and create reports as needed. Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless customer service processes. Demonstrate strong attention to detail in data entry tasks to avoid errors. Offer solutions to customer issues and escalate complex matters to appropriate departments when necessary. Maintain a positive and helpful attitude to foster strong relationships with customers. Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a call center or similar environment. Proficiency in handling inbound and outbound calls with excellent communication skills. Ability to perform accurate data entry and manage customer information effectively. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word for documentation and reporting purposes. Strong organizational skills for scheduling appointments and managing tasks. Experience in email correspondence and precise written communication. Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced setting. Manufacturing industry experience is a plus, but not required.
