Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Thrift Store Senior Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing store operations for 2 stores, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. You will play a key role in maintaining the store's appearance, handling transactions, and assisting with inventory management. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for thrift shopping. Responsibilities Manage daily operations of two stores, ensuring that they are exceeding goal and staying in budget. Recruit, hire, supervise and train new volunteer and staff members to ensure smooth store operations. Assist in acquiring and pricing inventory and managing stock levels to meet market demands. Maintain an organized and visually appealing store layout. Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking shelves as needed. Manage general facilities needs, ensuring the best quote is escalated to leadership for approval. Requirements Previous experience in thrift is preferred. Strong sales skills with the ability to negotiate effectively. Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills. Excellent communication skills. Ability to manage shifts effectively while supervising team members. A passion for thrift shopping and knowledge of market trends is a plus. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Data savvy and willing to report by the numbers to support decision making.
