Job Summary: The Director of Residential Services supervises and provides leadership for the Clinical Aide team. Responsibilities include: Overall successful operations of the clinical aide team Leading Community Meetings Ensuring New Client Orientation is updated and presented nightly Communicating and ensuring cohesive implementation of changes in processes or procedures Monitoring the "All House" Inventory and placing orders as appropriate Attending and participating in daily operations and weekly leadership meetings Client transportation to outside activities and meetings CA staff planning and scheduling. Holding regular 1:1 with CA staff CA staff annual performance evaluations and management of disciplinary processes. Interview for hiring of CA staff and new staff training Overseeing petty cash from time to time Overall responsibility for complete and timely documentation of CA staff Perform other functions related to the position as required Minimum Qualifications: EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS College degree or equivalent is required. Additional training or certifications in substance use disorder counseling, psychology, or related fields are preferred. EXPERIENCE Previous experience in a substance use disorder rehabilitation facility or a similar healthcare setting is highly desirable. Experience in a supervisory or leadership role. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS Empathy and Compassion: Demonstrated ability to show empathy, compassion, and patience when working with individuals struggling with substance addiction. A genuine passion for helping others and a strong commitment to supporting clients in their recovery journey. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders. Active listening skills to understand clients' needs and concerns. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple responsibilities and ensure smooth operations within the clinical aide team. Problem-Solving: Effective problem-solving skills, especially in high-pressure situations, to address challenges and crises that may arise during the rehabilitation process. The ability to think quickly and adapt to changing circumstances. Ethical Conduct: High level of integrity and adherence to ethical standards, respecting client confidentiality and privacy. Compliance with the facility's code of conduct and policies.
