Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Regional Chef to oversee culinary operations across five locations specializing in pizza, wings, sandwiches, and salads, with a new elevated Mexican-style restaurant in development. The Regional Chef will ensure consistent food quality, train and mentor new employees, and collaborate on innovative menu items to elevate guest experiences and align with our brand. This role demands leadership, creativity, and a passion for delivering exceptional casual dining. Key Responsibilities: Quality Assurance: Uphold high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency for pizza, wings, sandwiches, salads, and upcoming Mexican-style offerings across five locations. Conduct regular kitchen audits to ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Monitor ingredient sourcing and inventory to maintain quality and cost efficiency. Training and Development: Train and onboard new kitchen staff to ensure adherence to recipes, techniques, and brand standards for all menu items. Develop training programs to enhance team skills, focusing on casual dining and Mexican cuisine preparation. Provide ongoing coaching to improve performance and support career growth. Menu Innovation: Collaborate with leadership to design and test new menu items, including pizza, wings, sandwiches, salads, and Mexican-style dishes, incorporating guest preferences and trends. Integrate existing ingredients to create innovative, cost-effective dishes. Analyze menu performance and guest feedback to refine offerings and boost sales, particularly for the new Mexican-style restaurant. Operational Support: Oversee kitchen operations at five locations and future Mexican restaurant, ensuring efficient workflows and exceptional guest satisfaction. Work closely with regional management to align culinary goals with business objectives, including the successful launch of the Mexican-style restaurant. Troubleshoot operational challenges and implement solutions to maintain smooth operations. Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of restaurant experience, preferably in casual dining at a full service restaurant with expertise in pizza, wings, sandwiches, and salads; experience with Mexican cuisine is a plus. Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, kitchen operations, and cost control. Proven leadership and communication skills with the ability to train and motivate teams. Creative mindset with a passion for menu development and culinary trends. Ability to travel within the region to oversee five locations. ServSafe certification is a bonus but not required. Preferred Skills: Experience with pizza, wings, sandwiches, salads, and/or Mexican cuisine. Familiarity with analyzing food cost and menu profitability.
