POSITION SUMMARY
• The primary responsibility is to plan and provide for appropriate learning experiences for students. Provide an atmosphere and environment conducive to the intellectual, physical, social and emotional development of individuals to ensure success for every student.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Students who have been assigned to homebound instruction for mental health reasons. The assignment is intended meet the goals and transition into the student's
school schedule.
• Provides quality instruction setting and work with the student's zoned school's teacher of record to implement the curriculum to reflect the mission of the school division.
• Implements school board policies during homebound instruction.
• Plan for instruction to achieve desired objectives that reflect the Standards of Leaming and school division curriculum guides.
• Administers the systematic evaluation system for the identification of strengths and weaknesses of students.
• Uses resources to support student learning.
• Participates in staff development consistent with individual needs, program evaluation results, and instructional improvement plans.
• Creates an atmosphere of trust and mutual respect with students, parents. and day treatment facilities.
• Promotes effective communication and interpersonal relations.
• Models and maintains appropriate professional conduct with students, parents, staff, and community as delineated in school board policy.
