Job Summary
Manages the Nursing division and system clinical and non-clinical projects including technology and information systems rollouts. Oversees and prioritizes project tasks, manages timelines, maintains project plans, and communicates status to senior leadership, directors, managers, and stakeholders. Additionally, works within and outside of the organization, to overcome barriers, to facilitate process design, and develop and implement solutions. Ensures project success and leads project teams through the implementation of multiple projects simultaneously to achieve outcomes within prescribed timeframes.
Required Qualifications
• Require a bachelor's degree in business, IT, science or engineering health care administration, or related field. Significant experience directly related to the specifics of the job requirements can be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.
• Require minimum of five (5) years of project management experience, as well as experience leading and managing others, setting expectations, and providing positive/developmental feedback.
Preferred Qualifications
• Prefer Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent certification such as Certified associate in project management (CAPM), associate in project management (APM), Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), or Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB).
• Prefer previous experience in Healthcare (Hospital or Health Insurance), Insurance, Technology, or Financial Services working in areas of project management and implementation with a proven track record in implementation of system-wide projects, and the ability to implement complex processes and solutions while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Prefer Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project, and Visio) experience.
• Prefer effective communication and management skills in order to guide direct reports, influence stakeholders and maintain positive relationships across cross-functional areas.
• Prefer self-starter, initiator, strong organizational, presentation, interpersonal and consultative skills.
