Inside Sales Application Engineer

This Inside Sales Applications Engineer role supports the external sales force by responding to customer inquiries, qualifying leads, and offering technical support, enabling the team to focus on strategic growth initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, delivering timely and professional responses.
• Work closely with field sales representatives to relay technical specifications, product information, and pricing.
• Draft and manage quotations, sales proposals, and related documentation.
• Evaluate and qualify new business opportunities, forwarding them to the appropriate sales representative.
• Keep detailed records of sales pipeline activities and customer communications within the CRM platform.
• Build in-depth knowledge of products including reverse osmosis systems and membrane-related technologies.
• Provide guidance and troubleshooting for customer questions related to technical specifications and system compatibility.
• Engage in marketing activities such as trade shows and webinars to attract potential clients and promote offerings.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure customer needs are addressed promptly and effectively.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sales, Marketing, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 2-3 years in a technical sales support or inside sales role, ideally in water treatment or membrane systems.
• Ability to interpret and clearly communicate complex technical details.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust with customers and internal teams.
• Experience with CRM systems and other sales support software.
• Capable of multitasking in a high-paced environment.
• Solution-oriented approach with a focus on customer satisfaction.
