Location: Hybrid remote with work in Hillsborough and Pinellas counties

Reports to: Law Enforcement Liaison
Selah Freedom is a growing, national nonprofit on a mission to end human trafficking and bring freedom to the exploited. Headquartered in Sarasota, Florida, we provide prevention, outreach, and safe housing programs throughout the Midwest and Southeast U.S.
✨ What You'll Do
As an Outreach Advocate , you'll be a lifeline to survivors of human trafficking, walking alongside them to offer compassionate support and connect them with critical services like housing, legal aid, medical care, employment, and counseling.
You Will
• Provide direct support to survivors including advocacy, resources, and transportation.
• Collaborate with law enforcement when survivors are identified.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support after-hours needs.
• Attend trainings to stay trauma-informed and survivor-centered.
🧠What You Bring
• Bachelor's degree in social work, Criminology, or a related behavioral science field, preferred, experience will be considered in lieu of education.
• Experience in trauma, substance abuse, or related service settings.
• Passion for working with survivors of sex trafficking.
• Ability to serve in cross-cultural environments.
• A clean driving record and willingness to travel locally.

📅 Schedule & Work Environment
• Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm with occasional evenings and weekends.
• Moderate noise, moderate travel, and some physical activity required.
