Seeking a full-time Inpatient Psychiatrist for a new 144-bed hospital in North Port, FL, dedicated to treating adolescents, adults, and seniors with mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders.
• Provide diagnosis and treatment through psychotherapy, medication, and hospitalization, following federal, state, and facility protocols.
• Evaluate patients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health, developing individualized care plans and maintaining confidential documentation.
• Qualifications include a Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD/DO), board certification in psychiatry, and valid state licensure and DEA credentials.
• Responsible for ensuring medical stability, reviewing patient information, and adhering to compliance and billing standards.
