Primary Care Physician
Seeking a Part-Time Inpatient Primary Care Physician for a new 144-bed hospital serving adolescents, adults, and seniors with mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders.
• Provide medical evaluations within 24 hours of admission and address general medical concerns during hospitalization.
• Deliver direct care through pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments within scope of practice.
• Review patient medical information, ensure medical stability, and collaborate with healthcare team to develop care plans.
• Maintain confidential documentation, compliance, and billing per policies.
• Qualifications include a Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO), current state license, board certification or admissibility, and DEA credentials for prescribing controlled substances.
• Preferred experience with the hospital's patient population is a plus.
