Job Overview:
Roper is seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Cybersecurity Analyst with a relentless focus and commitment to elevating our cybersecurity posture.  As an integral member of our dynamic cybersecurity team, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization’s critical digital assets from an evolving landscape of cyber threats.  Leveraging cutting-edge tools and methodologies, you will proactively identify and mitigate potential risks, dissect trends and conduct in-depth root cause analyses.  You’ll collaborate with our Managed Detection Response (MDR) and Managed Threat Analysis services and platforms.  In the event of a cyber event, you’ll gain invaluable experience in Incident Response and Threat Management.
Your role will extend to participating in comprehensive risk assessments during our cyber health check visits, with an emphasis on meticulous configuration review and testing.  This testing will encompass assessing asset configurations spanning servers, workstations and network devices, as well as cloud configurations (AWS, GCP, Azure), vulnerability and patching management and website scanning.  Your expertise will also be instrumental in testing and validating the efficacy of cyber remediation measures.

Typical Responsibilities:
• Monitor and analyze security alerts, promptly responding to potential threats
• Assist in identifying, analyzing and addressing potential cybersecurity threats
• Conduct Cyber Health Checks with the Cyber Team (remote and on-site)
• Perform configuration reviews and testing, including the review of cloud platform configurations
• Collaborate with other cyber teams to ensure security best practices are implemented
• Conduct research and analysis on new and emerging threats and vulnerabilities
• Participate in security awareness training and education initiatives
Qualifications:
• 1 to 3 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity or related roles
• Bachelor, Master or Technical degree with Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology or a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Understanding of cybersecurity concepts and tools
• Familiarity with operating systems, networking and cloud concepts
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and have strong interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
Compensation

Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience and certifications.
