Job Summary Leading Senior Home Care Agency seeks a motivated Staffing Coordinator/Scheduler for our Greenwood, SC office. The candidate is responsible for organizing and scheduling caregivers to ensure that our organization is fully staffed on each work shift. The candidate will work closely with the office staff, HR, Operations, and the RN, to ensure all aspects of the operation is in compliance with SC DHEC and SC DHHS. The candidate will match caregivers with existing and new clients based on a number of factors such as location, availability, skill sets needed, and required/preferred criteria. Serious inquiries only please! Responsibilities and Duties Staff/schedule all existing and new in-home care clients to include regular communication to clients & responsible parties. Staff call offs and no shows as needed to maintain continuity of care. Communicate call-offs/replacements to clients & responsible parties and staff with appropriate backups. When backup plan fails, staffing coordinator will be expected to fill in. Debrief and communicate new client cases to employees prior to shifts. Understand and use staffing software to staff and schedule including inputting new client schedules into system Follow up on prospects, leads, referrals as needed Document daily events, incidents, call outs, client calls, etc. Coordinate CLTC admissions, supervisory visits, in-services, competency evaluations, health assessments, etc. with RN Assist with audit preparations, internal auditing for compliance reviews Communicate with CLTC CMs daily missed visits, phone issues, client issues, etc. Obtain copies of paperwork as needed, i.e. care plans, new hire paperwork, training materials, etc. Use and enforce all company policies, procedures, and processes. Submit daily wrap-ups to President Assist HR/RN/Admins as needed during projects. Present a professional appearance and positive attitude when interacting with clients and co-workers. Responsibilities subject to change On Call staffing/scheduling on weekends and nights. Staffing and HR Coordinators will rotate every weekend and week. Qualifications and Skills Our ideal candidate: Must have 2+ years staffing, scheduling and employee relations experience Must live in local area Must possess excellent customer service skills Must possess excellent organization and time management skills Must possess excellent computer skills including MS Office; Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Must be dependable and reliable Must be self-directed and able to complete responsibilities with limited supervision Must be able to multi-task and work in an urgent-paced environment.
