The Sarasota Branch Support Manager is responsible for overseeing the administrative office staff for each Sarasota department and providing overall general support. This position also acts as the liaison between the Piper Fire Protection branches.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Maintains an open line of communication with the managers, HR department, and coordinators whether it is in reference to policy, jobs, paperwork etc.
• Able to communicate effectively in both written and verbal mediums.
• Ensures department processes are being followed within the correct timeframes.
• Collaborate with Branch Manager to streamline processes within departments.
• Assists in the training of all new hires in administrative roles.
• Supports cross-departmental training.
• Works closely with Customer Service Supervisor relating to customer concerns.
• Assist coordinators with daily processing and training when appropriate or needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities
• Supervises and evaluates coordination staff within each dept.
• Identifies performance expectations, gives timely feedback.
• Collaborate with Department Managers and conduct formal performance reviews
Required Qualifications
• High School diploma or GED
• Five years of administrative experience.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately
Preferred Qualifications
• Associate’s degree.
• At least 2 years’ experience managing direct reports
• 3 or more years of related experience
Compensation
$24 - $27 hour

While performing the duties of this job, the Team member is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The Team member is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The Team member is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and climb stairs, or balance. The Team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
