Job Responsibilities The purpose of the Program Director position in Health Science is to provide supervision, assistance, and support to Surgical Technology faculty and staff. This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the Surgical Technology program
Minimum and Additional Requirements The employee must maintain a valid license in a Health Science discipline for South Carolina and have a minimum of three years clinical experience. A Bachelor’s degree and teaching experience at the technical college level is required. They must exhibit thorough working knowledge and skills related to surgical technology. Demonstration of abilities to adapt to and use a variety of teaching modalities. Documented experience in management of the administration of an accredited educational program. Act as a liaison to faculty in the supervision of didactic and clinical instruction. Organize, schedule and provide faculty for AHS courses.
