Job Summary
Re sponsible for the provision of comprehensive pharmaceutical care in a patient focused manner that supports and promotes medication safety. Primary focus of the role will be supporting the antimicrobial stewardship program with some time spent supporting unit-based/patient care clinical services. Responsible for assisting in developing, implementing, and maintaining the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program inclusive of both the inpatient and ambulatory areas for the health system. Orients and trains pharmacists, residents, interns, and students as assigned.
Required Qualifications
• Require active Florida Pharmacy license. If no active Florida Pharmacy license, must be registered as Pharmacy Intern in the State of Florida and have an active Florida Pharmacy license within three (3) months of hire.
• Require the ability to obtain a level 2 AHCA clearance.
• PGY1 Pharmacy residency or equivalent hospital experience
Preferred Qualifications
• PGY2 residency in Infectious Diseases or Antimicrobial Stewardship Certificate or previous experience in antimicrobial stewardship preferred
