Senior Accountant
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This individual will play a critical role in the month-end close process, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with GAAP. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and a proactive mindset to support the financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage components of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies and procedures
• Assist with financial analysis and variance reporting
• Support external audits by providing requested documentation and analysis
• Assist with implementation and improvement of accounting systems and processes
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information
• Mentor and support junior accounting staff as needed
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, etc.)
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.)
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
