Responsible for managing and/or coordinating work efforts of numerous projects with Facility Planning Design and Construction. Schedule furniture and equipment delivery and installation to meet project timelines. Responsible for the coordination of staff and furniture/equipment moves, management and coordination.
Job Description
Utilize AutoCAD (v2022) to manipulate and maintain accurate drawings.
Leads and provides project management on large furniture layouts and straightforward to moderately complex layouts and utilization of space ensuring compliance with County goals and local, State and Federal regulations.
Comprehensive knowledge of systems furniture.
Strong working knowledge of architectural and interior design along with mechanical, electrical, plumbing and technological components.
Responsible for space data management, space analysis/reporting, programming and planning of space and occupant relocation.
Work with business leaders to understand current and future space needs; conduct space feasibility studies when applicable.
Determine space availability and preparation of space.
Develop space and/or move solutions to address internal clients' occupancy or relocation requests.
Coordinate the allocation of building space, office layouts, furniture and cubicles for moves and changes.
Create fit, finish, and furniture plans.
Create and document space, finish and furniture.
Facilitate furniture procurement and reconfigurations.
Manage relocations from beginning to end; small and large group moves.
Collaborate and coordinate with architects, interior designers, project managers and construction managers in the development of new sites.
About You
Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Interior Design, Architecture or related Facilities field and two (2) years job-related experience OR - Six (6) years professional job-related experience can be substituted at management discretion for the required education - OR – Related professional program/ project management may substitute for the required education at management discretion. Valid Florida Driver’s License.
Job Competencies: Proficient in current AutoCAD version, Microsoft Office Suite and CAP2020 software. Strong background in commercial interior design with extensive comprehensive systems furniture knowledge, furniture specifications, selection of furniture and finishes. Sound understanding of architectural design standards, construction standards, ADA & building codes. Solid experience in space planning, restacking, master planning, space analyses, moves management, & test fits/block plans. Previous Facilities Planning experience. Ability to manage/lead a unit project/program/team; ability to set program goals and manage timelines; ability to prioritize work effectively; ability to respond to high level, controversial issues; ability to demonstrate excellent time management skills; ability to identify trends through statistical analysis; ability to develop and ensure compliance of principles, policies and practices; ability to build strong relationships with County Departments/Divisions and Elected Officials.

About Everything Else
Pay: $50,523.20 - $65,000.00
