About the Role Whether you're an Associate DVM ready to grow into a regional leadership role or an experienced veterinarian seeking to influence a broader team, this role offers a rewarding combination of clinical engagement and operational strategy . You’ll split your time between hands-on clinical work and leadership activities—mentoring DVMs, driving performance improvements, and helping shape the direction of multiple hospitals in the region. Key Responsibilities Champion Clinical Excellence Provide top-tier veterinary care, dedicating 75–100% of your time to direct patient care . Perform surgeries, consult with clients, and build your own clientele. Guide DVMs through case consultations , especially new grads needing support in surgery and dentistry . Drive clinical process improvements that boost efficiency and client satisfaction. Foster a Positive Veterinary Community Collaborate with the Regional Director to cultivate a supportive, positive work culture . Assist in DVM recruitment , working alongside the Talent Relations team to build high-performing teams. Mentor new graduate veterinarians to promote long-term success and retention. Drive Operational Success Optimize hospital efficiency, staffing, and scheduling . Analyze hospital performance metrics and assist with budgeting and resource allocation . Ensure smooth hospital flow and foster a collaborative team environment. Ensure Compliance and Quality Conduct hospital inspections and enforce high standards of quality assurance . Oversee regulatory compliance , including maintaining DEA logs and adherence to veterinary medical regulations. What You Bring DVM/VMD degree or equivalent from an AVMA-accredited institution. Active veterinary license in Florida (or ability to obtain). 3–5 years of clinical experience. DEA license (if required). Proven leadership skills with a collaborative mindset and the ability to mentor and inspire others . Willingness to travel regionally (expenses covered). Time Allocation & Work Schedule 75–100% clinical focus with dedicated time for mentorship, recruitment, compliance, and hospital strategy. 4-day work week with production-based earning potential —your clinical impact directly influences your compensation.
