Next Level Technician is seeking an experienced Fire / Security Technician to support an ongoing opportunity in the Greenville, SC area. If you’re a detail-oriented professional with strong security installation experience, this is a high-impact opportunity with great long-term potential. What You’ll Be Doing: Installing and wiring CCTV, access control, and alarm systems Handling security panel wiring , including circuit layouts, device daisy-chaining, and terminations Pulling, terminating, and testing CAT6 Reading and interpreting blueprints and wiring diagrams for system layout Mounting and configuring devices such as cameras, card readers, door strikes, and sensors Servicing and performing light installation of conduit, wiring, and low voltage devices . Installing, terminating, labeling, and dressing fire alarm cabling . Testing all installed cabling using appropriate equipment. Terminating and troubleshooting fire alarm panels and field devices . Supporting programming efforts (preferred but not required) Requirements: Strong, hands-on experience with security system installations Solid knowledge of panel and circuit wiring and system layout (not just device mounting) Must have worked in a security or alarm company environment Comfortable with low-voltage cabling and tools Ability to travel or work overnight shifts if scheduled (rare but possible) Preferred Qualifications: Manufacturer certifications or alarm license Programming skills in security or access control platforms Experience with integrated commercial security systems Why Work with Next Level Technician?
