CRNA - Pottstown Memorial Medical Center - Full Time
The 232-bed Pottstown Hospital, located in Pottstown, PA, is a voluntary nonprofit hospital that is part of Tower Health. This short-term acute care facility has a number of treatment specialties, including sports medicine; joint replacement; arthroscopic surgery; osteoporosis, arthritis; bodily injuries, trauma, and fractures; and behavioral health. CRNA opening on dynamic team at 232-bed nonprofit Pottstown Hospital in beautiful dairy and farming region. Case Assignments include ortho, urology, vascular, and more. CRNAs are offered the opportunity to perform regional blocks at this location. Shifts include 8's, 10's, 12's, 24's, weekends, and holidays. Each CRNA takes one (minimum) in-house call per week. No beeper call. The team has a dynamic, team-oriented approach and provides opportunity for teaching SRNA's as well as autonomy with support. Responsibilities include pre-anesthesia assessment, obtaining and/or verifying patient consent, discussing anesthetic options and risks with the patient, induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia, monitoring of the patient's physiological condition, and performance of clinical intervention as needed. Requirements include current license as a registered professional nurse, graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education, and certification or recertification by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists. The location is in Pottstown, PA, a borough of Montgomery County, about 40 miles northwest of Philadelphia, PA, and 20 miles from Reading, PA, with various local attractions and educational institutions.
