This contract position for the school year involves working with students to address and support their speech and language needs through targeted evaluations and therapy.
Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students experiencing speech and language disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with each students goals
• Provide therapy sessions focused on enhancing speech and language skills
• Diligently monitor and document student progress to ensure effective intervention
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote coordinated care and support
• Educate and engage families in the therapy process, fostering a collaborative approach to learning
Qualifications
• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure
• Preferably hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
