We are currently seeking a Level 3 MIG Welder to help us continue building systems that meet the highest standards in safety, strength, and reliability.
Position Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and dependable MIG Welder with extensive production experience to join our first shift team. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, team-oriented, and committed to producing consistent, high-quality welds. This individual will play a critical role in fabricating structural components for our custom-engineered racking systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform MIG welding on steel racking components in accordance with detailed blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding procedures.
• Ensure all welded assemblies meet quality control standards and dimensional specifications.
• Inspect finished products for defects, proper weld penetration, and alignment using measuring tools such as tape measures, squares, and gauges.
• Use grinders, torches, and other hand tools to prep and finish welds as needed.
• Work collaboratively with engineers, fabricators, and team leads to resolve issues and meet tight production timelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to OSHA safety standards and company policies.
• Assist and mentor less-experienced welders when needed and promote a culture of teamwork and support.
• Accurately complete daily production logs and quality documentation.
Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of MIG welding experience in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, welding symbols, and fabrication blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to precision and quality craftsmanship.
• Demonstrated ability to consistently produce clean, structurally sound welds.
• Excellent work ethic and reliable attendance record—this is critical to the success of the team.
• Comfortable working with hand tools, power tools, and in physically demanding conditions (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods).
• Willingness to assist teammates, adapt to changing priorities, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
• Welding certification is a plus but not required.
