• This position is remote. Candidates must reside in Maryland, Washington, DC, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Florida, or Texas.
Overview:
• Join a transformative, enterprise-wide project at a leading managed care organization. We are seeking a Financial Modeling & Analysis Subject Matter Expert to play a critical role in reshaping our pharmacy benefits strategy. In this upstream role, you will be responsible for forecasting the financial value of new pharmacy contracts, directly influencing our ability to lower drug costs.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to forecast trends related to pharmacy rebates, network discounts, and utilization patterns.
• Analyze and interpret market data, legislative changes, and clinical information to assess the financial impact on pharmacy programs.
• Translate complex pharmacy economic concepts and actuarial insights into clear, decision-ready financial analysis for leadership.
• Provide financial input into product design and pricing strategies to ensure the cost-effectiveness of our pharmacy benefits.
Required Qualifications:
• A minimum of 3 years of direct experience in pharmacy rebate forecasting.
• Deep understanding of pharmacy economics, including rebate structures, network discounts, and drug pricing strategies.
• Strong, demonstrated experience in financial modeling and analysis, specifically within a managed care or health plan environment.
• Ability to interpret large data sets and translate them into actionable financial insights.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with contracts for PBMs, GPOs, or pharmaceutical manufacturers.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
